Sato Kunitaka "Agareyunuharukana"

This is a work by Sato Kunitaka, who was called "an outsider musician"
from Amami Island.
He used an instrument, Amami Tategoto, and played mainly on the street.
Album title, Agareyunuharukana, is from a folk song in Amami.
I couldn't understand the meaning of the title and looked it up on the internet.
Here is the answer: Agareyunu means "coming from the east where the sun rises"
and Harukana is a mythical goddess.
If you wanna know about the story of Mr.Sato,
It's all in Japanese though.
So, back to the meaning of the title of this album, it means "A mythical goddess comes from the east where the sun rises."
His songs are as powerful as the goddess.

 He was a blind musician.
He ran away from home at the age of 17 and became a street musician.
