デズモンド・デッカーのコンピレーションアルバム。

ずっと前からなぜジャマイカ人のデズモンドが

「イスラエル人（Israelites)」を題に曲を作ったのかということ。

やっと調べる気になって、このサイトを読んでやっとわかった気になっています。

つまりラスタファリズムとジュダイズムの関連性。

共に虐げられた２つのグループが見えてくると理解できます。

兎にも角にもデズモンドの明るい歌声に和らぎをもらえることでしょう。

I'd been wondering why a Jamaican, Desmond, named 

his hit song "Israelites" even though he isn't an israelites(right?).

I found this web site and now I think I understand the connection 

between Rastafarianism and Judaism and why he named it so.

He is singing how certain people have been oppressed and persecuted 

like both two groups above.

Anyways, his cheerful voice eases people's mind.
