Golden Smog "Down by the Old Mainstream"

ゴールデンスモッグがこのファーストアルバムをリリースしたのは１９９５年。

このアルバムは僕にとっては特別なものだ。

その昔写真の現像を冬にしているときによくこのアルバムを聴いていた。

白い吐息と暖かいサウンドが特別な空気を醸し出していた。

その時は、こんなにメンバーが豪華だなんて思ってもいなかった。

メンバーにはジェイホークスのゲイリー、ソウルアサイラムのダン、

リプレイスメンツ（！）のクリス、そして何と言っても

今やビッグバンドのウィルコのジェフ。

なんとジェフがベースを弾いている。

Golden Smog released this first album back in 1995.

This one is really special to me. 

I would often listen to this while developing films 

at darkroom in winter.

White sigh and warm sounds of Golden Smog were something special.

Back then, I didn't notice what great musicians their members are

for this country flavored rock music.

Members includes such as Gary ofThe Jayhawks,

Dan of Soul Asylum, Chris of The Replacements, and Jeff of Wilco.

 I believe this song is one of master pieces.

Guess who plays the bass.
